such as the new Community Notification
Service.
- To
sign up call 1-888-689-8905 from the device
you wish to register and enter your zip code.
You must be able to make a call and receive
text messages from the device, such as a
cell phone.
- If
you don’t have FREE text messaging on
your cell phone, you will be charged between
5 and 10 cents for text messages for this service.
Check with your cell phone provider.
- Community
Notification Service does not work with a pre-paid
cell phone.

Pinellas County Special Needs/Evacuation Assistance
Program is for individuals who have no other evacuation
plan and need to go to a public shelter during
