Our citizens' opinions matter. The Environmental Science Forum represents Pinellas County's efforts to address key citizen and special interest group concerns on the current and future use of County parks and preserves, environmental lands and green space. The county has put together an informal group to act in a consulting fact-finding role to the County Administrator. The Forum is made up of representatives from organizations and private individuals with environmental knowledge and interests. Pinellas County administrators and representatives from Environmental Management, Brooker Creek Preserve, Parks and Utilities will provide staff support.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Environmental Science Forum shall be to review and provide comments and recommendations on significant projects and management activities potentially affecting Pinellas County environmental and park lands, and associated water and biological resources. Comments and recommendations provided by the ESF shall be considered by County staff, the County Administrator and Board of County Commissioners, in an advisory manner, as appropriate. The deliberations of the ESF shall be conducted under Sunshine Law provisions.
