Haz-to-Go

Haz-to-Go is a service that brings a collection trailer to community groups that request to host their own mini-mobile events for the collection of hazardous electronics and chemicals.

Groups such as homeowner or condo associations can use Haz-to-Go to provide a convenient "clean-up day" for their residents. The trailer has a capacity of up to 20,000 pounds. On the scheduled day, the Haz-to-Go trailer will pull up in a neighborhood so residents can drop off unwanted items such as TVs, computers, paint, or pesticides. This is a FREE service for Pinellas County residents.

The Haz-to-Go collection trailer is available for scheduling on weekdays for a three-hour period. To schedule a Haz-to-Go event or get more information, contact Solid Waste at (727) 464-7500 or email: waste@pinellascounty.org

Household
Pinellas County offers residents two other FREE, safe options for disposal of hazardous household waste: mobile collections and the HEC3 (Household Electronics and Chemical Collection Center) in St. Petersburg.

Business
Businesses can dispose of their hazardous waste inexpensively at an EnviroBusiness Day or mobile collection. Businesses should arrange for drop off and payment by calling EQ Florida, Inc. (chemicals) at 813-623-5302 or Creative Recycling Systems (electronics) at 813-621-2319.
