The Vision Pinellas update process continued to include presentations by the second and final group of SFA teams: Health & Human Services, Public Safety, and Transportation, Utilities and Stormwater.

Mark Woodard began the process for updating Vision Pinellas with the Board by previewing what was going to happen on 2/12 and 2/26, and set the stage for presentations by the first three Strategic Focus Area (SFA) teams this day: Effective Government, Economic Development, Redevelopment & Housing; and Environment, Recreation & Culture.

Board Meeting - 2-5-08

The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the Vision Pinellas video as an overview of the Board’s Strategic Planning process. The results of the 2007 Citizen Survey were also presented to the Board, followed by a question and answer period.

Board Work Session - 03-22-07

The Board of County Commissioners received a presentation from County leaders in March 2007 to update everyone on the status of the County's Strategic Planning process from the perspectives of each of the six Strategic Focus Area teams.

Board Work Session - 11-14-06

Strategic Business Plans developed by the County's Strategic Focus Area teams were presented to the Board of County Commissioners in November 2006. Commissioners called for:

1) a Communications Plan to deploy the Vision Pinellas Strategic Plan,

2) quarterly reporting about the County's progress with achieving Vision Pinellas goals and strategies, and

3) user friendly performance measurement reporting.
